Whether you are a complete beginner or have been practicing for a number of years this fun workshop will bring you back to basics.

In yoga the simpler is often the most powerful.

However we can become distracted with the shapes and the poses. During this set of workshops you can take the opportunity to pare your practice back to basics, and from there sore to new highs.

No matter what level you are working at, this is the opportunity to go deeper, and discover the magic within.

This workshop will take place over two afternoons with eight weeks between them so you have an opportunity to practice what you have learned and bring it back to get your questions answered and to see and celebrate your progress. These workshops offer you a unique opportunity to take your practice to the next level.

Restorative Yoga

This very popular workshop is on again this month.

You work hard, your body works even harder. Why not take this time out to allow yourself and your body a chance to unwind, relax and renew. This workshop is predominantly done on the floor, in passive poses, so no prior knowledge or experience is required.

Come by yourself or bring a friend - tell no-one that it finishes at 12 noon and treat yourself to lunch at one of the many wonderful local restaurants in Maynooth.

Everyone is welcome and no prior yoga practice is required.

Discover how yoga can support you get more and better quality, undisturbed sleep. Discover tricks and tools from yoga to use if you wake during the night. Discover simple changes you can make during the day and with your diet to support you get a more restorative rest each night.

Whether it’s stress and anxiety or hormonal, yoga has a number of tools to offer to support you with your sleep. It can support you to balance your hormonal system and ease the stress on your nervous system.

The workshop will cover:

  • Why sleep is important, and how to get a restorative rest, even if you can’t sleep

  • The impact of stress on sleep and learn relaxation techniques

  • How the physical environment can effect you and how small changes can make a big difference

  • The effects of food and exercise

  • How to develop a supportive bedtime routine

  • Some herbal & homeopathic tools which may help break the cycle
