Explore Embodied Somatic Yoga Through
OUR RENOWNED ARUNA TEACHER TRAINING METHOD
Training Day At Aruna Yoga Academy.
Before we can truly guide others home, we first need to know what it feels like to come home to ourselves”.
Join us for a nourishing 3-hour afternoon of embodied yoga, where we’ll explore a different way of practising—one that is less about achieving the perfect pose and more about developing awareness, freedom and a deeper relationship with yourself.
Together, we’ll move, breathe, reflect and explore the principles of embodiment in a warm, welcoming space alongside like-minded people. You’ll experience how embodied yoga can transform not only the way you practise, but the way you teach, connect and live.
This workshop is perfect if you:
Love yoga and want to deepen your understanding and experience for yourself.
Feel a quiet calling to share yoga with others and are curious about becoming a teacher.
Already teach yoga and would like to bring more embodiment, confidence, authenticity and modern movement science into your classes.
Whether this workshop simply gives you an afternoon to reconnect with yourself or becomes the first step on a much bigger journey, you’ll leave with practical tools, fresh insights and a clearer sense of what comes next.
At Aruna Yoga, we believe that the best teachers are those who never stop being students. When we learn to nurture ourselves first, we are far better equipped to support and nurture others.
If you’re considering joining our 200-Hour Embodied Yoga & Meditation Teacher Training this September, the full cost of this workshop will be deducted from your training fees, making it the perfect opportunity to experience the Aruna approach before taking the next step.
Sometimes the most important thing we can do is pause.
To step off the treadmill of everyday life. To take a breath. To listen. To remember what it feels like to be at home in ourselves.
Who is Laura Wynne?
With over three decades of exploration in yoga and embodied movement, Laura Wynne has become one of Ireland’s leading voices in embodied somatic yoga education. As the creator of the Aruna Method and founder of the Embodied Somatic Yoga Teacher Training, she has mentored hundreds of yoga teachers and guided countless students in learning to listen deeply to their bodies, both on and off the Yoga mat.
Driven by curiosity, wonder, and a profound respect and understanding of the human experience, Laura created her flagship Embodied Somatic Yoga Teacher Training programme. Rooted in Ancient wisdom, science and our ever changing understanding of human anatomy, training with Laura is anything but ordinary.
Laura has had the fun of developing and the privilege of sharing the Aruna Method with hundreds of students to date. Her work invites exploration, and inquiry both in training and in daily life.
Through her work, Laura empowers students and teachers to develop the skills, courage, and sensitivity to hear their own inner narratives.
As an Educator she facilitates deep questioning and embodied awareness, helping people reclaim their strength, agency, and capacity for self-understanding.

Teaching People Not Poses
Embodied Yoga gently guides students back to themselves, inviting a quiet turning inward where the body’s voice becomes more important than the shape of a pose. In a world that so often asks us to override our needs; pushing on, performing, staying productive; it’s no wonder we lose touch with those subtle inner signals.
At Aruna, the practice softens this pattern, creating space for awareness, choice, and self-trust, where how something feels matters more than how it looks. With thoughtful guidance, students explore what truly supports them, building a sense of agency that ripples beyond the mat.
For teachers, it deepens an understanding of the why behind each pose, encouraging a more intuitive, responsive way of guiding others.
Ultimately, Embodied Yoga is about teaching people, not poses—nurturing strength, connection, and a way of being that feels honest and sustainable in everyday life.
Join us on the Talamh Tent 10am -2pm to experience this for yourself, and come chat to us all day at the Aruna Tent.

Small Movements Huge Impacts
Our bodies carry patterns—of movement, of habit, of what feels familiar and easy—and over time these patterns quietly shape how we move through the world.
Somatic Yoga offers a gentle invitation to notice them, to become curious, and to soften the automatic pull toward the well-worn path. Like crossing a grassy field where a narrow track has already been made, we tend to follow what’s familiar, even though there is space to move in countless other ways.
Through slow, attentive exploration, we begin to sense new possibilities, perhaps even in something as simple as lifting an arm or putting on a coat; discovering that the body is capable of far more freedom than we realised.
With small, mindful movements, patterns begin to unwind, and what once felt fixed becomes fluid again, bringing a quiet sense of ease, lightness, and choice back into how we move.
This is truly something to experience for yourself with the Aruna Teachers at the Talamh Tent, 10am - 2pm
