Mothers day blog

Celebrating mother's day no matter what stage of life your at

Today is my mum's birthday. My mum passed away suddenly while we were on holidays almost 9 years ago. It was shocking at the time.

Today on her birthday and just a few days away from mothers day, I am thinking how I can honor her and thank her for all she did for me and my family, and here's what I have come up with …. BE THE VERY BEST VERSION OF ME THAT I CAN BE

So no matter what your relationship is like with your mum, one thing is true, you would not be who you are without her. AND it is also true that she did the very best she could do. AND it is true that you are doing the very best you can do.

So this week … let's celebrate that. Lets celebrate ourselves and all the women in our lives. Those who are mums, those who want to be mums, those who don't want to be mums, those who can never be mums. Those who have inspired us and cared for us. Let's celebrate ourselves and each other.

Celebrate how?

Celebrate any way you want. You could buy a gift, send a message, make a phone call, plant a flower.

But most of all, BE YOURSELF, allow YOUR LIGHT SHINE. What better way to honor and celebrate your mum. What better way to empower your daughter.
